Full Job Description

Mivan is a dynamic and progressive specialist joinery and interior fit-out contractor which has built a reputation for excellence and innovation and has an international track record of achievement. Due to the recent award of new contracts, the opportunity has now arisen for enthusiastic and experienced Site Managers to join our team in London.

Working as part of the site based project team, successful candidates will be responsible for the organisation and supervision of directly employed operatives and sub-contractors on site. Applicants must have the ability to achieve the necessary production outputs with due regard for quality finishes and health and safety issues.

Main Duties will Include:

  • Site Construction programmes - ensuring timelines/targets are adhered too.

  • Direct supervision of operatives ensuring works are carried out in a safe, compliant, effective, and efficient manner.

  • Monitor site operatives' performance.

  • Understanding of Site Health & Safety and adherence

  • Planning to ensure resource is available for the workload.

  • Proactively work with colleagues to ensure the site and workload is running smoothly.

  • Manage onsite deliveries.

  • Managing team schedules and site attendance.

  • Assisting with planning.

    To be successful as a Site Manager, you should be detail-oriented and knowledgeable of building codes and construction safety regulations, demonstrate exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ideally candidates will have a joinery background and site supervisory experience on high quality interior fit out projects and be a CSCS Card holder.
