Site Librarian

As our experienced qualified Site Librarian, you will take day-to-day responsibility for the Library at Haywards Heath College. You will liaise directly with curriculum staff to provide relevant resources, collection development and research skills training. In liaison with teaching staff, you will ensure that the stock, services and environment of the Library support student learning.,

Our Site Librarian will be educated to degree level and ideally have a CILIP accredited qualification in librarianship or information studies, or a commitment to obtaining such a qualification. Experience of working in a customer focussed library environment and proficient computer skills are essential.

Pro rata of £29,483 - £32,226 (i.e. £24,778.59 - £27,083.91) per annum

  37 hours per week, 40 working weeks per year, paid for 46.2 weeks per year,
• 8.15 to 5pm Monday, Tuesday and Thursday (7 hours 45 minutes with 1 hour for lunch)


• 8.15 to 4.15pm Wednesday (7 hours with 1 hour for lunch)


• 8.15 to 4.00pm Friday (6 hours 45 minutes with 1 hour for lunch)
