Full Job Description
- Maintain the bar and complete stock takes monthly.
- Prepare bar orders and ensure that they are correct.
- Ensure that alcohol is served to adults only and responsible drink service in place.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary bar area at all times.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks, such as line clean.
- Undertake stock ordering
- Train and motivate team members under your supervision
The head bartender we are looking for will be the first face everyone is welcomed by so having a big personality to fill the bar will be essential. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of the daily running of a bar and will have a good all-round knowledge from cocktails and spirits to cask ale and draught. The successful candidate will have high energy and strong communication skills, as well as excellent customer service abilities. The main focus of the role is to manage the main bar downstairs but the role will also cover the several event spaces as required on site. Full training on stock count, line clean and ordering will be provided if needed.
Staff will be working as part of a small team working toward offering a high standard of service to customers from day-to-day dining to private events.
We are looking for staff who are flexible with hours and hard working.
The Vintage Box Ltd is a small business in Frome. We are fast-paced, social and engaging.
The Mill at Rode is a historic cloth mill which has been taken over by a new land lord and lard around 6 months ago. We are looking for an enthuses bartender who is looking to join our growing team.
Full training will be given so experience is not essential. The ideal candidate will be willing to work weekends, bank holidays and evenings.
Personal licesence would be a nice addition, however not esseional. We can also offer training for the indivual to gain their personal licence.
