Full Job Description

To monitor the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods
- Responsible for the line management of the staff within warehouse team
- Ensuring that all delivery requirements for the depot are successfully met

Core Duties:

- Ensuring that the warehouse as a whole runs as efficiently and effectively as possible.
- Security checks on open/shut down of operation.
- To analyse data to monitor performance and plan improvements.
- Co-ordinating and controlling the order cycle and associated information systems.
- Ensuring that products are dealt with efficiently in the warehouse and successfully get delivered to customers
- To ensure that the Warehouse and its Housekeeping are maintained to a high standard
- To ensure that stock is stored within health and safety guidelines

To ensure that productivity stats are assessed , to identify improvements & manage staff accordingly
- To ensure that the Warehouse Bin/Bay locations are kept up to date
- To ensure all processes are followed and adhered to in regards loading/unloading, including checking of all loads, shrink wrapping and load security.
- Ensuring adequate staff levels to cover for absences and peaks in workload.
- Delegating work to staff and managing their workload and output.
- Effectively cover the role of Warehouse & Distribution Manager in their absence

Use of Microsoft Excel for spreadsheets and records
- Full use of 'Trinity' system and CyberQuery
- Good team work skills
- Good Management and communication skills
- Good specialist knowledge of the drinks industry and warehousing policies and procedures
- A counterbalance licence or flexi licence would be advantageous to the position.,

  • Warehouse management: 5 years (preferred)

  • Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
