Sheffield BAE Systems - Supervisor

Leading the onsite security team as the Security Supervisor, you will work in supportive and collegiate manner with your team whilst ensuring site duties and client expectations are fulfilled. You will ensure constant compliance and adherence to Securitas and client procedures and policies, managing your team's personal and collective performance to fulfil expected standards.

Working on the site of our defence sector client, you will ensure your team receive, and continue to receive, appropriate training, tools and information to fulfil their duties in a meaningful manner. As the Security Supervisor, you will be on hand to provide advice and guidance to your team and ensure that the site always has the correct amount of staffing.

In addition, your role as a Security Supervisor will include:

• Ensuring onsite incidents are responded to and reported efficiently and accurately



• Working with Securitas Branch team(s) to ensure rosters are managed and implemented correctly and that an adequate backup (or relief) team of employees are available and arranged when necessary to maintain post coverage



• Reporting key information metrics to internal teams regarding onsite service delivery



• Assisting management with ad-hoc requests



• Ensuring site documentation is always maintained and up to date



• Providing consistently high levels of customer service



• Completing continuous training and development activities



• Seeking to enhance the security stature of the site by recommending innovations and new ways of working to site management
  
  Hold a valid SIA licence



• A full, valid UK driving licence



• Ideally, 3 years' experience of working in Security (Supervisory experience preferable)



• Due to National Security requirements of our client, you must be a British born British national



• Provide valid proof of right to work in the UK and pass security clearance



• 5 year checkable work history



• Be able to work well individually and as part of a team



• Be prepared to work outside in all 4 seasons: Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter



• Be able to communicate clearly in written and verbal formats



• Be able to make timely and informed decisions which you can justify



• Be reasonably fit, as walking and foot patrols are required



• A flexible and responsive approach to balance changing needs, requirements, and urgencies



• A commitment and understanding of delivering high levels of customer services
