What is great about the role?

As a Service Charge Advisor at Pobl Group, you'll play a key role in ensuring our tenants receive accurate and transparent information regarding their rent and service charges. You'll have the opportunity to engage with customers, address their queries effectively, and contribute to enhancing their overall experience with us.

Where does the role fit in?

Joining our team within Rents & Service, you'll work collaboratively to uphold our commitment to delivering exceptional service to our tenants. Reporting to the Rent & Service Charge Manager, you'll be an integral part of the team responsible for maintaining clear communication and financial transparency.

We are looking for someone with experience in working with numbers and analysing data and the capability to meet targets consistently. Showcasing your ability to connect with people effectively is key in the role. Expertise in IT such as email, Word, and Excel is essential, coupled with a keen eye for detail. The role demands strong organisational skills. Preferably social housing and service charge administration, aswell as a solid grasp of Landlord & Tenant law, particularly in service charge matters. A valid driving license, access to a car for work, and appropriate insurance are must-haves too.

  • The salary for this role is £31,500 for a 37 hour full time, permanent position

  • Working days are predominately Monday to Friday days, we have a blended and flexible approach to the work we deliver. Modern vibrant work spaces and with agile working you can maximise your work-life balance. The role does include working work closely and engaging with various areas of our business throughout South Wales and you will need to be present in services. Admin can include working from home or local offices.

  • Base location will either be Newport or Swansea, dependant on where you live.

  • The successful candidate will need a basic DBS check in place

  • It is essential for the successful candidate to have access to a car and a full drivers licence.

  • Mileage is paid at 45p per mile.
