Full Job Description
- Develop and implement innovative SEO strategies to improve the visibility and ranking of our publishing brands in search engines.
- Conduct thorough competitor analysis to identify opportunities for ranking improvements and content optimisation.
- Collaborate with brand editors, data analysts and the digital team to ensure that all content is SEO-friendly and adheres to best practices.
- Work closely with Data Analysts to analyse performance data and make informed decisions to enhance our SEO and social media strategies.
- Monitor and report on SEO and social media performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and social media marketing.
- Manage and grow our presence on social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Plan and execute engaging social media campaigns that promote our content and increase audience engagement.
Possess a proven track record in SEO and social media management, - Have a strong understanding of Google Analytics, SEO tools, and social media management platforms and enjoy actively using these social media platforms.
- Thrive on analysing data, extracting actionable insights, and using them to fuel strategic decision-making.
- Bring a creative spark with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to the table.
- Enjoy collaborating with diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail and excel at multitasking and meeting deadlines.

Mark Allen is a growing media organisation, with 550 MAG-nificent individuals across 7 offices and we are recruiting an SEO and Social Media Executive to continue with our mission to enhance our online presence and ensure our content reaches and positively impacts a global audience through optimised search engine visibility and compelling social media engagement.
This can be a fully remote or hybrid role (Dartford, Kent office) with a salary of up to £35,000 (DOE) plus benefits.
