Full Job Description

You'll need demonstrable knowledge of SEO strategy, as well as technical SEO, keyword research, content planning, and on-page optimisation. You'll use that knowledge to work with key clients across e-Commerce, B2B, tech, SaaS and professional services.

Key responsibilities of the role include working with clients to understand their business goals, analysing their website and markets to spot new opportunities, and helping them to get buy-in for the most valuable SEO projects

This role is open to candidates commutable distance to our Milton Keynes office and we'd expect to see you in our Headquarters 4 days per week.

About the role

As an SEO consultant, your role will predominantly be focused on working with our clients to plan and execute SEO strategy. You should expect to get hands on and work on a variety of clients across eCommerce, B2B, Tech and SaaS as well as financial services.

You will also be confident in:

  • Leading accounts from an organic search perspective, working with copy and content marketing teams to hit shared goals. This might also involve working with other channels (e.g Marketing automation and/or Paid Media) on multi-channel accounts

  • Building relationships with clients, and developing an in-depth understanding of their business goals and product offerings. You will know how to use that knowledge to develop SEO solutions to support clients' business growth

  • Developing SEO strategies and work plans that are rooted in revenue based KPIs and tied to the buyer's journey

  • Effectively presenting prioritised recommendations in a way that helps your clients get buy-in and get results. You'll know when to push hard on getting recommendations implemented, and when to be 'softer' based on a clients needs

  • Conducting Technical SEO audits and ongoing health checks - identifying the most important changes, levels of urgency and being able to communicate these effectively to your client

  • Conducting keyword research, creating content plans and delivering on these with the copy and content marketing team

  • Understanding the key parts of a page from an SEO perspective. Identifying and prioritising on-page optimisations

  • Using platforms like GA4 to review key performance metrics, spotting trends and using that information to update/ inform plans, as well as effectively communicating impact to your clients

  • Conducting data analysis using tools like Google Sheets, to spot opportunities or threats. You may be required to present forecasts or opportunity estimates to clients to showcase the opportunities at hand Producing excellent deliverables for our clients, to a level where they are high quality, client-ready, and provide true value to the client or project you're working on



  • We're looking for someone with the following experience:

  • 2+ years experience in an SEO-orientated role (e.g senior SEO executive)

  • At least 1 year of experience working at a digital, performance marketing, or SEO agency

  • Passionate about developing and delivering exceptional outcomes and results for clients that are underpinned by success metrics and KPIs

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and presentation skills

  • Able to function independently on SEO analysis, as well as collaboratively with wider team members on strategy

  • Experience in using core SEO tools. Experience of all platforms not required but ideally experience of at least one platform per category
