This is a Hybrid Role with a 3-day office / 2-day WFH split.,

• New Store Implementation: Create new Shopify Plus stores from scratch, working with internal stakeholders to deliver business requirements.


• Theme Development: Build and customise Shopify themes, meeting specific requirements and ensuring high-quality and responsive designs.


• App Integrations: Integrate third-party apps and plugins to enhance store functionality and improve the overall user experience.


• On Going Support: Provide technical support and maintenance for e-commerce stores. Resolve bugs and issues, address security vulnerabilities promptly and ensure continuous improvement.


• Innovation: Stay updated with the latest e-commerce trends and best practices to ensure our solutions are optimised and remain innovative.


• Ensure strict adherence to Health & Safety


• Any other duties deemed necessary by the company for the successful completion of the role or for the benefit of the company.
  
  4+ years commercial software development experience with exposure to e-commerce.


• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript. Familiarity with modern web development approaches and techniques.


• SEO Knowledge - understanding of best practices and tools.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.


• Use of modern version control software - e.g. Git.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


• Good interpersonal skills


Desirable but not essential:

• Shopify Development Experience - familiarity with Liquid, Shopify APIs and customer app development.


• Familiar with a software development approach - E.g., Agile / Scrum.


• Experience in writing frontend and backend unit and integration tests (PHPUnit/PEST).


• Use of CI/CD pipelines.


• Experience with Docker


• Knowledge of a modern JS framework - E.g. Vue or React.
