An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Complex Care Programme within the South London Partnership.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in a cutting-edge Programme with an excellent reputation across S London.

The Programme's focus is to transform the way decisions are made and redesign pathways of care to achieve improved outcomes for those supported by the ICB complex care budget which supports c1050 individuals at a cost of c£50m.

The post holder will lead and co-ordinate Programme reporting. This involves leading the integration of a wide range of measures and processes across 11 boroughs, providing leaders with visibility and understanding of delivery against milestones and performance outcomes. Via regular analysis, the post holder will identify key lines of enquiry for operational and executive leads to investigate. The Programme prides itself on being data driven - where data directly drives service transformation.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who wants to influence, add value and deliver on a variety of agendas. The successful candidate must have excellent partnership skills, working with colleagues from across the ICB, LA's and Mental Health Trusts. They must be confident to hold a significant amount of complex data, and have specialist knowledge of analysis methodologies, able to present information in a clear and concise manner for a variety of audiences.

The Senior Performance Manager, as a member of the senior leadership team, will be integral to the success of the Complex Care Programme. The post will influence strategic decision making within the Programme and across the wider health system through the provision of highly complex data collection and analysis.

The postholder will often be the main contact for both internal and external partner finance and data teams and as such must show leadership, expertise and confidence. They must establish effective communication channels with partners to ensure timely reporting and good practice- liaising with them to clarify activity and performance.

The post will act as the lead data specialist for monthly reporting up to Board level - designing performance and activity dashboards. They will also input into wide ranging projects including developing data for complex business cases, supporting colleagues in developing modelling scenarios, analysing complex business opportunities, and identifying and reporting against associated programme quality plans, financial efficiencies and recovery plans.

The post holder will work in close partnership with Clinical Leads, Service Directors, Finance and Contracts teams, Quality leads, SLP colleagues, sub-contracted NHS and independent sector providers, external provider collaboratives, other stakeholders, patients and carers to develop service strategy and service design.

South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust(SLaM) provide the widest range of NHS mental health services in the UK as well as substance misuse services for people who are addicted to drugs and alcohol. We work closely with the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience (IoPPN), King's College London and are part of King's Health Partners Academic Health Sciences Centre. There are very few organisations in the world that have such wide-ranging capabilities working with mental illness. Our scope is unique because it is built on three major foundations: care and treatment, science and research, and training.

SLaM employ around 5000 staff and serve a local population of 1.1 million people. We have more than 230 services including inpatient wards, outpatient and community services. Currently, provide inpatient care for approximately 5,300 people each year and treat more than 45,000 patients in the community in Croydon, Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark; as well as substance misuse services for residents of Bexley, Bromley and Greenwich.

Provide strong visible leadership and expertise within the CCP, in partnership with all external stakeholders, on matters relating to performance standards.
Maintain a high profile within the CCP across the three trusts and engage with staff at all levels, including clinicians, to ensure that performance standards are treated with the highest priority.
Lead and facilitate trust wide initiatives to improve performance, ensuring that processes and pathways work effectively across Directorate, Trust and local health economy boundaries.

Lead on the performance management framework with regard to CCP.
Lead on the development, production and analysis of the Integrated Performance Dashboard for CCP and associated boroughs.
Lead on a defined portfolio of performance measures across the CCP in collaboration with the rest of the SLP.

Work with Boroughs to review and improve administrative and clinical pathways to support improved performance and patient experience.
Apply new and innovative approaches to systems and processes to maximise organisational efficiency.
Write, develop and implement policies and procedures to enable change and support good performance, such as procedures for contracting and finance colleagues.
