The Hendy Group are looking to recruit a dynamic and highly motivated Senior Learning and Development Partner to join their Academy team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a talented and experienced L&D Specialist who wants to play a key role in the ongoing development and implementation of our ambitious strategy to create innovative and impactful learning and development for all of our colleagues.
You will love the delivery side of L&D - passionate and dedicated to your craft, looking to use your skills and experiences to help us build something unique that enhances capability, builds high-performance and fosters a learning culture across the group.
You will provide thought leadership, be creative, think big and think differently; challenge the status quo and generate solutions to new and existing learning and business challenges, translating these into specific interventions which deliver clear outcomes.
You should possess exceptional relationship building skills with the ability to flex your style to work with diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced, changing working environment.
You will coach senior managers to articulate business problems and identify capability gaps within them, upskill line managers to build learning cultures within their teams, and create the time and space for individuals to reflect and be inspired and empowered to make decisions about their learning and career needs. You will mentor and collaborate with line managers to ensure learning is part of the everyday.
The Senior Learning & Development Partner Opportunity:
This role will include (but not be limited to):

  • Working with stakeholders to understand existing capabilities against future requirements, skills and performance gaps and business change initiatives, and how these link to organisational strategy.

  • Designing, developing and delivering bespoke learning strategies - implementing career development pathways, succession planning initiatives, and talent management strategies to support colleague growth and retention.

  • Delivering L&D solutions using a variety of formats, including face-to-face, digital, knowledge management, coaching and mentoring.

  • Ensuring L&D solutions are innovative, unique, memorable and relevant,

  • Administering, delivering, tracking and reporting on L&D solutions using our Learning Management System (LMS)

  • Supporting and signposting colleagues of any level to develop their knowledge, skills and career prospects.

  • Providing regular reporting /key metrics in relation to L&D activity as directed.

    Experience of designing and delivering measured L&D solutions for all levels of the business, including face to face and digital delivery.

  • A passion for people development with a natural flair for coaching and facilitation to enable others to perform at their best.

  • Naturally curious and an ambassador for self-led learning.

  • A proven track record in L&D and providing expertise and advice to managers to influence approaches and outcomes.

  • Excellent communicator with strong relationship building skills and a desire to collaborate and work as part of a team.

  • Ability to manage expectations of demanding stakeholders.

  • A self-motivated professional, eager to learn and try new approaches and add value to the organisation.

  • Demonstrates attention to detail, commitment to high standards of performance and continuous improvement.

  • Effective organisation and prioritisation skills, managing multiple pieces of work to agreed deadlines.

  • A good practical understanding of Microsoft Teams and Office.
