Full Job Description

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze financial performance, provide insight and contribute to strategic decision making

  • Prepare insightful management reports and presentations for key stakeholders

  • Partner with various business units to understand financial needs and provide recommendations

  • Create accurate forecasts, budgets and financial models to support the business and wider growth objectives

  • Drive continuous process improvement within the FP&A function


  • Key Tasks:
  • Provide analysis of month end performance, identifying variances and assessing R&O

  • Partner with the Financial Accounting teams to deliver the monthly P&L results, reviewing journals, identifying accruals and deferrals

  • Partner with sales and operations teams to review sales contracts, pipeline, pricing, opportunities and new deals

  • Prepare monthly revenue drivers for the various businesses, tracking sold deal go-lives, sales-to-revenue and losses

  • Management of labor expenses including reconciliation and partnering with HR to review open positions

  • Assist in preparations of monthly forecast schedules and adjustments aligning with the risk and opportunities discussed with the business

  • Assist to create the annual budget and strategic multi-year plans by working with the business to model growth objectives

  • Prepare and consolidate financial analysis information to Corporate finance templates and submissions

  • Leading and participating in ad-hoc projects within Finance or wider Broadridge

  • Present financials and strategic business performance to stakeholders

    The ideal candidate will be a qualified Financial Analyst/Accountant holding a professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, ACA), with previous experience of:

  • Providing financial analysis in a commercial environment

  • Experience working in a US listed deadline driven company type environment/culture

  • Experience of US GAAP and/or software/technology business would be an advantage

  • Demonstrate high level of intelligence and ability to grasp new tasks and information in a fast moving, deadline driven environment

  • Demonstrate ability to show attention to detail while working with large volumes of data, but also be able to step back and see the big picture"

  • Consistent delivery of high levels of productivity, efficiency and quality;

  • Proactive in seeking new work challenges to support own team and business;

  • The ability to develop strong, collaborative relationships, fostering teamwork and gaining the confidence and trust of others;

  • Experience of handling multiple demands and competing priorities, even in complex situations and projects;

  • The ability to deal constructively with unexpected challenges or sudden changes in priorities;


  • Systems experience:
  • Excel skills necessary (e.g. use of pivots, manipulation of large volumes of data, modelling, etc).

  • Prior experience of Oracle and TM1 beneficial but not necessarily
