Full Job Description

Reporting to the Finance Manager - International Technology and Advance Analytics (IT2A), the Finance Analyst role plays a key part in supporting the IT2A function across Walgreens Boots Alliance. This is a great opportunity for an individual to help shape financial reporting and deliver financial insights to the appropriate team budget owners.,

  • Supporting the forecasting process and ensure relevant details are complete, accurate and aligned with key business partners

  • Own and manage resource planning tool for relevant teams

  • Support cost saving initiatives and investment projects as and when required, working with the Project Management Office to ensure projects are delivered in line with budget

  • Own the month end delivery, reporting and re-forecasting.

  • Work with your business partners to produce the annual budget and 3-year plan, and support them in delivering these targets

  • Provide detailed variance analysis across all cost & recovery categories

  • Manage and work closely with Genpact partners to ensure all aspects of month end commitment are met and R&O are communicated to Finance manager appropriately

  • Work with the whole IT2A Finance team to Identify opportunities to drive efficiency in processes by further automation and elimination of non-value add tasks

  • Work collaboratively with other finance teams (Control, Accounts Payables etc.) as necessary

    The ability to inspire trust, financial discipline and reliability

  • Evidence of leading month-end close activities

  • Previous experience of management reporting, budgeting and forecasting

  • Be inclusive and advocate collaborative ways of working

  • Experience of working and partering with Senior Leaders within an organisation

  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills and previous working knowledge of SAP

  • Should be comfortable using Planning Analytics (PA) as this is the primary tool for all financial planning and reporting.
