The post-holder will have a central role in the trial, being responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the Sleeping Better trial within the local NHS trust. This will include delivering psychological therapy, supervising research assistants in the recruitment and assessment of trial participants and supervising other clinicians in the delivery of the sleep intervention., To deliver and supervise highly specialist cognitive-behavioural sleep interventions for young people at ultra-high risk of psychosis and patients under the age of thirty who have been diagnosed with psychosis. This will include treating difficulties such as insomnia, nightmares, and circadian rhythm disruption, adapted for patients with psychosis. Training in the intervention will be provided.

Recruitment and provision of the intervention will occur across Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust and mental health hubs within the West Midlands.
