Our Advisory Services Business has a an exciting opportunity for Asset Management Consultants to join in the North West and Yorkshire region.

You will apply in-depth asset management knowledge and skills to support the delivery of a range of client projects, focussing principally on transport, water and energy infrastructure. This role will deliver on a range of high-profile projects with major infrastructure operators and will give you the opportunity to leverage own skills to resolve problems and recommend solutions on projects.

We are looking for people with a foundation of technical knowledge who are looking to move into an advisory role. You will help win, manage and deliver projects providing strategic and operational advice to asset owners, primarily within the transport & water sector but with opportunities to work in other sectors such as energy.

Other key duties will include working closely with clients to understand their needs and challenges. You will build on your technical knowledge and provide general and technical advice to asset owners drawing on experts from across Arup and the supply chain as required. You will also build and maintaining positive client relationships through the provision of timely and quality technical advice, and be commercially minded to contribute to overall project success.

Full time and part time working hours will be considered including flexible working.

There may be travel to and from client sites /or temporary assignments to client's offices may also be required & going forward international assignment opportunities may be offered.

  • A background in transport, water and / or energy infrastructure asset management, preferably within a consulting role.

  • Capability of processing and analysing data to identify issues / trends and develop solutions.

  • Project management and delivery skills, including financial and risk management.

  • Capability in developing business proposals for clients, by understanding client requirements and drawing expertise from across a multi-disciplinary firm.

  • Stakeholder engagement experience
