Full Job Description

  • Incident and Request Management through our ITSM toolset Service Now

  • Contribute to and maintain a support knowledge base

  • Provide specialist advice on toolset usage to the userbase

  • Infrastructure monitoring and trend analysis

  • Supporting licence renewal, hosting and utilisation monitoring activities

  • Reporting on toolset data and service statistics, As a senior Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues within the PLM toolset. The PLM Support team provides specialist IT application support services to the Engineering userbase of Siemens Teamcenter Enterprise and Unified. These toolsets are configured for the Air Sector use case, so extensive training will be provided to the right individual

    Understanding of Engineering PLM toolsets (Teamcenter Enterprise or Unified)

  • Able to operate independently to investigate and resolve issues as they arise, either learning on previous experience, by searching knowledge bases or by engaging other members of the team

  • Experience of working in a Support environment or rolling out a new PLM toolset

  • An awareness of ITIL Foundations would be desirable

    The ideal candidate will be joining a dynamic team with a broad range of skill sets and technical backgrounds, with the opportunity to gain significant technical expertise in a widely used toolset within the business and influence how the application will develop over time to support the future of our Defence technology
