SEN Teaching Assistant

Cover People UK are working with a mainstream Secondary school based in Tameside who are looking for SEN Teaching Assistants to join their team in September. We are looking for experienced Teaching assistant who have worked with different SEN needs to support pupils on a 1:1 basis. This opportunity will be to work 5 days a week, full time. This position will be a long term, temporary role however there could be an option to go permanent if it is the right school for you!, You will working with the SENCO supporting teaching staff in the development and education of pupils. You will be responsible for the care and wellbeing of pupils and developing good personal and social skills. You will ideally have experience with ASD, Visually Impaired and Speech & Language.

You will ideally have a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent. The school are also considering candidates with a Level 2 TA qualification.
