Full Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with teachers and other staff to support students with SEN, specifically autism spectrum conditions, ADHD and anxiety, helping them to achieve their full potential., Provide one-on-one or small group support

- Assist in the implementation of Education and Health Care Plans (EHCPs) and behaviour management plans.

- Adapt learning materials to meet the needs of students.

- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

- Monitor and record children's progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents/carers.

- Assist in classroom management and organisation.

Previous experience working with children, particularly those with SEN, is desirable.

- A relevant qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, SEN Teaching Assistant qualification) is preferred.

- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Salary: £22,104 - £22,860 per year (actual salary)

Hours of work: 41 hours per week Monday to Friday during school term time (38 weeks) plus 1 week INSET, Competitive salary and benefits package.

Arc School Ansley, part of Kedleston Group, is an independent specialist day school near Nuneaton, for children and young people aged between the ages of 7 and 17. We provide a safe learning environment for children and young people with a wide range of varying needs including autism (ASC), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and anxiety.
