Full Job Description

Due to continued growth within the Security function, we are seeking a talented Security Regulatory Initiatives Lead to be the central point of contact for specific regulatory areas of National Gas Security.

You will ensure assigned regulatory deliveries are performed on time, to relevant quality and are endorsed and agreed by all appropriate colleagues, whilst assessing proposed and actual changes to specific areas of regulations, how they impact on National Gas Security and the wider Technology function.

You'll create metrics against regulatory requirements including any issues with delivery, and assist line management in the compilation of regulatory reports, self-assessments and other requests from OFGEM and DESNZ etc.

You will own specific deliverables are determined by the Security Regulatory Compliance Manager, provide guidance to the wider National Gas Security team on regulatory matters and act as a deputy to the Security Regulatory Compliance Manager as appropriate.

  • Expert knowledge of regulation, ideally in the energy sector

  • Proven analytical, problem solving, communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to translate a complex regulatory problem into a business solution

  • Experience of working with relevant regulatory bodies

  • CISM or equivalent highly desirable
