Security Officer

You'll play an essential role in a fast-paced team that is made up of

Venue (Track, site and buildings)

Medical (Onsite medical facility and services)

Security (public safety and site security)

Health & Safety (including circuit safety team)

Public Events (including the British Grand Prix, MotoGP, Festival, Club Racing and bespoke leisure events)

Corporate & Hospitality events (Day to day delivery of track days, testing and conferencing, banqueting, catering and hospitality)., To monitor and protect SCL assets including managing access to and from the venue; conducting proactive patrols and responding to security related incidents on site., The post has a direct impact on the safety and security of the venue and the various events hosted on site. Not only does it affect operations, it also has a bearing on people's first impression of the security within the venue. It is essential that the security is managed and operated to the highest standards.

Specific responsibilities include:

Maintain secure perimeter to the venue.

Manage access into and out of venue.

Conduct proactive patrols.

Working at the Main Gate as and when required.

Respond to security related incidents including fire and intruder alarm activations.

Identify and record security or maintenance issues throughout the Venue.

Develop and implement standard operating procedures relevant to the role.

TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES

o Promote at all times the professional image of the company by ensuring high standards of both professionalism and personal presentation.

o Participate in staff training as required.

o Comply with company policies and health and safety requirements at all times, encouraging an awareness of health and safety requirements.

o Any additional responsibilities as reasonably required.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

Performance will be monitored against the following:

o Objectives set through the Personal Development Review (PDR) process

o Ownership and completion of agreed business priorities in a timely manner

o SIA Door Supervisor licence, (required.)

o SIA CCTV Operators licence, (desired.)

o Ability to operate in a dynamic working environment.

o Attention to detail, handling multiple tasks and deadlines.

o Hold full UK manual driving licence.

o Ability to work on own initiative in a dynamic environment.

o Professional presentation reflecting the Silverstone values.

o Able to manage relationships with variety of stakeholders at all levels.
