Full Job Description

  • Secure premises and employees by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points.

  • Routinely inspect buildings, property and cycle racks, checking they are secure and protected against intruders, locking/unlocking as appropriate.

  • Monitor people coming in and out of CMG buildings, ensuring they have the right access credentials and comply with all visitor/guest policies and procedures.

  • Creating a safe and comfortable working environment for students, employees and visitors.

  • Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.

  • Maintain environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.

  • Respond to internal emergency calls to deal with violent or threatening students or visitors.

  • Escorting individuals off the premises as and when required.
