Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our LFC Foundation team as a Schools Manager. In this role you will manage and supervise the development and delivery of top-tier educational initiatives as part of the Education and Life Skills team. These initiatives are specifically designed to offer life-changing opportunities to participants in the most disadvantaged areas of Liverpool and its surrounding boroughs.

What will you be doing?

Work with the Department Manager to develop the strategic direction of all school provision, including areas for growth through funding opportunities and programme opportunities befitting the Foundation's strategy.
Work closely with existing LFC Foundation school provisions to collaborate and enhance opportunities available to schools.
Manage, develop, and deliver the school programmes in line with all requirements set by funders. This includes developing delivery plans, providing risk assessments and report writing.
Manage the ongoing monitoring and evaluation framework of all programmes to agreed outcomes.
Manage programme budgets by working closely with the Department and Finance manager.
Harness relationships with local schools and education stakeholders to build partnerships that will help to further the schools and education strategy.
Stakeholder management with a diverse range of partners including schools, education settings and alternative education locations to increase opportunities for participants.
Effectively line manage direct reports through providing support, performance development and day-to-day line management administration.
Support the Senior Management team when required.
Ensure LFC Foundation quality standards are achieved and maintained at all times.
Always adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and positive environment for everyone.
To support with LFC Foundation programme development across our delivery areas.
To ensure compliance with all relevant LFC Foundation policies, including health and safety policies and safeguarding.

Who are we looking for?

To be successful in this role, you will have experience working within education and school settings. You'll have experience in line management and project management. It is desirable to have a relevant degree level in education/teaching and experience in running successful school-based programme. You will have demonstrable experience in implementing robust monitoring and evaluation framework. You'll be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of schools, education strategies and curriculum mapping.

You will have strong organisational skills, including having competency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the use of outlook/emails. You'll have the ability to evaluate successes and areas for development. You will have a level 1 in safeguarding young people or a willingness to work towards relevant qualifications. You'll also have a commitment to Liverpool FC Foundation's mission and values

This is a fixed-term contract opportunity for a period of 12 months, you will be working 35 hours per week. Your main base Anfield Sports and Community Centre but there will be a requirement to work in other LFC and partner sites.
