Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to provide administrative support across the School, you will be joining a busy team providing a range of services. You will work closely with School Business Manager, Headteacher and a range of Stakeholders within all areas of the school as well as Governors, the School Community, Contractors, and members of the public.

The post holder will predominantly work with the School Business Manager and Headteacher, contributing to and effectively execute a proactive, effective and efficient transactional HR support service The post holder will require to accurate maintain relevant documentation, to be presented and 'inspection ready' at all times.

This will include, but not limited to:

  • regular reviews to ensure that all staff are compliant before employment date commences;


  • ensure that all staff are compliant before employment date commences;


  • ensure all staff files accurate, well presented and up to date;


  • Assist with the creation of recruitment adverts and the recruitment advertising process;


  • Ensure that all administration relating to recruitment is co-ordinated, effectively communicated, handled efficiently and on a timely basis including inputting all vacancy data onto the HR System and interview packs for panels;


  • Maintain confidentiality in relation to personal data held in accordance with the Data Protection Act


  • This is a highly hands on and operational role and you will need to be extremely organised juggling many different priorities


  • Administer the consistent and accurate processing of all contractual changes, the starter and leaver processes along with relevant paperwork


  • Process references for former staff members.


  • Ensure all personal data is managed, processed and retained in accordance with relevant data protection legislation
