Full Job Description

The Senior Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for the daily configuration, maintenance, support, and improvement of our client's Salesforce platform, this includes supporting the integration of Salesforce with other systems and applications.

You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders across different teams to understand their needs and implement solutions that align with organisational objectives and demonstrate impact. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Salesforce best practices, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to driving continuous improvement.

Key Deliverables:

  • Establish and maintain a cross-organisational database structure within Salesforce, and set up functions while providing user guides for consistent and correct usage.

  • Customise and manage the Salesforce database system to align our client's organisational strategy and goals. Including the customisation of fields, page layouts, record types, reports, and dashboards to meet user requirements.

  • Reconciliation of income for fundraising

    Experience of Salesforce integration with third party applications and tools, specifically for marketing and financial reconciliation and management.

  • Proficient in Salesforce configuration, customisation, and administration

  • Experience of using a database to monitor and track results for specific projects, including segmentation, campaign tracking and reporting

  • Working knowledge of the Data Protection Act, GDPR, Fundraising standards and codes.

  • Collaborative working style and excellent relationship building skills

  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to deliver projects with time constraints

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines, across multiple teams in an organisation.

  • Ability to think analytically and deliver effective solutions for data manipulation, capture, reporting and analysis

  • Highly organised, with an attention to detail.

  • Ability to work effectively under own direction

  • Salesforce Administrator Certification


  • Nice to have:
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes, in particular Excel

  • Experience of income reconciliation
