Full Job Description

Having experience within the energy sector, you will bring both sales skills and technical knowledge to help you liaise with customers about our products and services. You'll be assigned a portfolio of both new and existing customers to develop market share. In our collaborative sales process, you will assess customer needs and recommend tailored products, services to deliver tangible, measurable solutions to meet their needs. You will support the tender process with bids/proposals/presentations and conduct product demonstrations to showcase our service to customers and value added benefits. Through delivering a strategy based on medium to long-term business growth plans you'll protect, grow, and diversify the relationship with prospects and customers. Through your exceptional interpersonal skills, you'll collaborate internally with the wider team and externally with clients selling directly to the ultimate purchaser and indirectly via channel partners. The Role: - Successfully growing
our market participation within our Grid Automation portfolio of AC (Automated Controls) System Sales new and existing customers. - Developing customer contacts through knowledge and expertise - Close collaboration with the wider business and external parties - Working to Hitachi Energy's quality standards and procedures - Working with the tender team, project managers and engineers to contribute and collaborate to win new business. - Applying financials, costs analysis when scoping opportunities for new growth and expanding existing market share

General Sales & Marketing experience with on a combination of general sales and marketing with face-to-face and/or remote sales to new or existing customers. - Assessing customer needs and suggesting appropriate products, services and/or solutions. - Existing knowledge of the energy sector - ideally within Grid Automation - Financially and commercially astute and credible with customers - Fluent in both spoken and written English and an articulate communicator at all levels
