Full Job Description

  • Receiving UK and overseas customers' orders via telephone, email or post.

  • Processing customers' orders.

  • Solving customers' queries in a quick and positive manner.

  • Liaising with production and warehouse teams regarding order progression.

  • Dealing with carriers and freight forwarders.

  • Completing transport paperwork, including shipping notes, dangerous goods notes and other regulatory documentation for carriage by road, air and sea.

  • Processing sales invoices.

  • Dealing with email correspondence.

  • Any other administration duties as required


  • Full training will be provided, initially in-house, but also fully-funded, locally-based external courses within six months of employment, in the completion of transport documentation for the international carriage of chemicals by road, air and sea.

  • Confident and professional telephone manner

  • Can process information accurately with excellent attention to detail

  • Well organised with a methodical approach to work

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word software

  • Willingness to learn new skills.

    We manufacture colour dispersions, polyester gelcoats, bonding pastes and lacquers for the composites and allied industries. We are looking for a sales office administrator to join our small sales office team.

    Monday - Thursday: 8.15am to 4.30pm with 30 minutes for lunch

  • Friday: 8.15am to 3.45pm with 30 minutes for lunch

  • 38 hours per week
