Full Job Description

We have a fantastic and exciting opportunity for a driven, target focused Sales and Marketing Executive to join our growing, successful team at the Tunbridge Wells and Flimwell agencies.,

  • Pro-actively seek out and research businesses to develop a sales pipeline

  • Review and identify the commercial insurance needs of prospects and advise on our products, seeking opportunities to differentiate our offering from competitors

  • Transact business compliantly and within FCA requirements with a 'customer-centric' approach

  • Introduce the full range of products we offer

  • Work effectively within a team

  • Utilise the extensive training, support, and resources available both within the agency and wider company

  • Devise and deliver NFU Mutual's social media strategy aligned to the Divisional and Group Strategies including appropriate measurable objectives to drive brand familiarity and consideration.

  • Create and deliver an annual social media plan which is aligned to the company's Marketing, Corporate Social Responsibility and Media Relations plans in order to help to position our agency as a leading insurance financial services company and drive the development of social media for our agency in line with annual targets.

  • Lead the design and delivery of our agency's social media governance, controls, guidelines and training to ensure that the company's reputation is protected and channels used are appropriate based on target audience and messaging.

  • Monitor and evaluate social media environment and conversations, proactively identifying and planning for issues that could impact the business; as well as overseeing an appropriate response to social media enquiries, in collaboration with relevant internal and external stakeholders, in order to minimise the risk to the organisation.

  • Develop, monitor, review, analyse and evaluate social media key performance measures to ensure that annual plans deliver results to agreed targets.

  • Build, maintain and manage relationships with external social media agencies and outsourced service providers to ensure terms and conditions and service level agreements are effective and delivered.

  • Establish and develop relationships with key departments, influencers, third party suppliers and target audiences to ensure the effective delivery of the social media strategy and plan.

  • Effectively manage the annual budget of the area ensuring that it is allocated appropriately with Return On Investment metrics to maximise success.

  • Plan, write and distribute social media content across our agency's agreed channels in line with the social media plan.

  • Deliver short term / one-off projects and activities as required by and to the standards and outcomes agreed with Line Manager

    Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, & relationship building abilities

  • Pro-activity and the ability to work independently to develop a pipeline of prospects and drive your own sales performance

  • Experience of and an understanding of the insurance/financial services sector preferable

  • Strong I.T. literacy

  • Minimum of Grade C in GCSE Math's and English (or equivalent)

  • Full driving license and access to your own car for client visits

  • Experience of effective strategic planning and delivery of projects and social media campaigns.

  • Experience of managing relationships with business stakeholders, influencers and third parties.

  • Experience of corporate use of social media including content creation, planning and measurement.

  • A good understanding of key social media channels such as Blogs, Twitter, Youtube and Facebook.

  • Experience of a social media role within the financial services sector in an in house role would be desirable., Marketing: 2 years (preferred)
