Full Job Description

As an Sales Executive, working out of our state-of-the-art Salford Quays offices, you'll take calls from people who are thinking of joining Bupa, and help them to choose the best healthcare cover for them.

That means you'll be the ears and voice of Bupa, a font of all knowledge, and a proud advocate too. As well as talking about our products, you'll explain the benefits of good health and wellbeing, and you'll have the confidence to upsell.

After two years in our Customer Service Centre, you can move into other areas of our business, if you have a willingness to learn and grow.

How you'll help us make health happen:

  • Take calls from potential customers, guiding them through our products and helping them find the right level of healthcare cover for them.

  • Deliver amazing customer service, making sure each caller has a great experience whether it's the first or last call of the day.

  • Switch seamlessly between different systems to find and give customers the information they need as quickly as possible.

  • Maintain high professional standards at all times and abide by all regulatory requirements.

Sales experience in a target driven, customer focused role.

  • Great listening and communication skills with the ability to respond with empathy.

  • The ability to think on your feet and bounce back if you don't get a sale.

  • Strong enough IT skills to move quickly between systems.

  • A passion for hitting targets and earning commission.

Bupa is the UK's biggest health insurance provider and official Healthcare Partner to Paralympics GB. We are a family of thousands and growing. Brave, committed and compassionate people, all driven by the same purpose - helping people live longer, healthier, happier lives and making a better world.

  • We have no shareholders to answer to; our customers are our sole focus. And we reinvest our profits into providing them with better healthcare, now and in the future.

Our benefits are designed to make health happen for our people. Viva is our global wellbeing programme and includes all aspects of our health - from mental and physical, to financial, social and environmental wellbeing. We support flexible working and have a range of family friendly benefits.

Joining Bupa in this role you will receive the following benefits and more:

  • 25 days holiday, increasing through length of service, with option to buy or sell

  • Bupa health insurance as a benefit in kind

  • An enhanced pension plan and life insurance

  • Annual performance-based bonus

  • Onsite gyms or local discounts where no onsite gym available

  • Various other benefits and online discounts
