Full Job Description

Day to day duties:

  • Processing purchase order reports and assisting with stock management

  • Processing invoices and financial statements

  • Processing payments and remittances

  • Processing sales order reports

  • General administration tasks such as data entry and supporting colleagues

  • Customer service by handling enquiries and being the first point of call

  • Maintaining records such as supplier approval forms

  • Providing support to the sales team by raising quotations via management software

  • Providing support to the sales team and engineering by processing repeat orders

  • Providing online support by updating suppliers and customers

    Communication skills, IT skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Customer care skills, Problem solving skills, Presentation skills, Administrative skills, Number skills, Analytical skills, Logical, Team working, Creative, Initiative, Non judgemental, Patience, GCSE or equivalent English, Maths (Grade 5) Essential, A driving license would be advantageous for flexibility but not essential. The candidate should portray their personality through including extra curricular activities on their application.

    You will be required to attend Elite Centre for Manufacturing Skills, University of Wolverhampton, Springfield Campus, Grimstone Street, Wolverhampton, WV10 0JP, 2 days per week over a 5-week period as part of the apprenticeship delivery., You could reduce your training time, or finish your apprenticeship faster, if you have relevant prior learning or experience.
