Salaried GP - Mat Leave cover

At present this is taking place via MS teams. This is important to not only discuss clinical cases but also for pastoral support and to feedback to the wider clinical team. Alongside GPs the huddles are supported by nursing staff, pharmacists and our first contact physios. The huddles allow us all to stay in touch and achieve consensus on both clinical and non-clinical matters.

Home visits: These are to be dealt with as per the home visit policy. In general home visits are requested in the morning and the expectation is that these will be done between 12:30-14:00. Results/Docman/Admin: You are expected to action the results of any tests you personally request, in line with GMC guidelines. In addition to this every GP is assigned a small section of the practice population as is their designated named GP (this is done via an A-Z list).

You are also responsible for the routine monitoring, medication reviews and incoming Docman/Admin of you A-Z list.
