Full Job Description

  • Implement EHL 'Core Values' within daily tasks.

  • Promote ESH 'Best Practice', implementing company and legislative ESH requirements.

  • Assist in health, safety, and environmental internal and external audits.

  • Facilitate the company safety objectives, promoting safety awareness and ownership.

  • Attend ESH/SHEQ committee meetings.

  • Assist to review ESH systems, practices, and procedures within the Integrated Management System.


  • The training you will be getting

    Level 3 Safety, Health and Environment Technician Standard including End of Point of Assessment. course will take place in the Work Place.

    Allocated Off-the-Job hours/day will be agreed per week.

    Apprentices without level 1 maths will need to achieve this level and apprentices without level 2 maths will need to take the tests for this level prior to taking the end-point assessment.

    Communication skills, Attention to detail, Problem solving skills, Logical, Team working, Patience, GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 4-9) Essential
    GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade 4-9) Desired
    BTEC or equivalent Engineering (Grade Pass) Desired

    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

  • 36.5hrs between Monday to Thursday: 8am - 4.30pm or 8.30am - 5pm. Friday: 8am - 1.30pm or 8.30am - 2pm., You could reduce your training time, or finish your apprenticeship faster, if you have relevant prior learning or experience. This could be relevant:
