Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Safety, Health, & Environment (SHE) technician apprentice at our Gainsborough site.

This brand-new role offers the chance to undertake an apprenticeship in Safety, Health, and Environment level 3, equivalent to A levels, paving the way for a successful career in Health, Safety & Environment.

What will I be doing?

As an apprentice, you will be instrumental in ensuring safety and environmental compliance within our organisation.

Your responsibilities will include actively participating in observations, engaging with staff to raise awareness of our goals, and collaborating with HSE Champions to enhance knowledge. You will also play a key role in investigating accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and develop action plans, as well as conducting audits across site SHE areas and staying updated on SHE regulations and best practices., Beware of scams online or from individuals claiming to represent us. A Kerry employee will not solicit candidates through a non-Kerry email address or phone number. In addition, Kerry does not currently utilise video chat rooms (e.g., Google Hangouts) to conduct interviews. Refuse any request that asks you to provide payment to participate in the hiring process (e.g., purchasing a "starter kit," investing in training, or something similar). Key requirements for this apprenticeship opportunity include a GCSE grade 4 or equivalent in English & Mathematics, alongside valued skills in communication, IT, attention to detail, organization, administrative abilities, and initiative.

Prior experience in manufacturing or warehouse setting is a bonus.
