Full Job Description

To hold a supportive role in promoting good professional safeguarding practice within the safeguarding team at Gateshead. To support the safeguarding lead with the provision of education and training to clinical staff, demonstrating a high degree of professional nursingskill, competency, and knowledge in Safeguarding practice within the safeguarding adult's team at Gateshead., Lead the provision of specialist clinical knowledge and advice to other nursing staff, the wider multi-professional team, allied health professionals, patients and their families/carers and partner organisations.? Lead the provision of education and training for nursing and allied healthprofessionals, including health promotion.? The post holder will take a lead role within a team who, in collaboration with the multi-professional team co-ordinate and develop pathways for patients who require safeguarding.? Work collaboratively with the wider safeguarding teams to embed the 'Think Family;' approach.? Work with the Trust safeguarding team and Local authority safeguarding teams to support the implementation of the multi-agency safeguarding procedures.
