Full Job Description

We are currently seeking a CPaMP Risk Management, Regulation and Reporting Manager to join our dynamic team, where you will play a crucial role in strategic decision-making and efficiently manage CPaMP risk exposure within Markets. As a CPaMP Risk Manager you will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to develop and implement strategies for effectively managing CPaMP risks, thereby contributing to the overall success and reputation of Global Markets., Customer Protection and Market Practices (CPaMP) Risks are 2 of the 6 core Compliance risks within Citi. The Global Markets First line of Defense Markets Customer Protection and Market Practices Risk team is responsible for the oversight of the identification, assessment, monitoring and mitigation of the CPaMP risks across Markets globally.

What you'll do

  • Risk Identification and Risk Appetite Assessments

  • + Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and assess Customer Protection and Market Practices (CPaMP) risks within Markets, considering regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
    + Perform timely periodic risk appetite assessment for CPaMP this includes identifying, measuring, monitoring, and reporting Compliance Risk exposures that exceed appetite to applicable risk governance forum(s) and/or relevant Boards

  • Risk Monitoring and Rporting

  • + Identify and implement Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and establishing thresholds to facilitate ongoing monitoring of CPaMP risks.
    + Monitoring KRIs and other metrics to track risk levels and trends over time. Report on risk exposures, including deviations from risk appetite thresholds to senior management and stakeholders.

  • Risk Mitigation

  • + Where required, collaborate with relevant stakeholders including business units to develop and implement remedial actions in response to identified risks that exceed risk appetite thresholds.

  • Regulation SME

  • + Support the identification of regulations applicable to CPaMP risks.
    + Provide robust challenge to stakeholders on CPaMP risks and related controls associated with regulations.
    + Support a wide range of stakeholders in determining the controls required to demonstrate adherence to applicable CPaMP regulations.

  • Participate in ad-hoc projects and initiatives related to CPaMP risk management as assigned by senior management.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization, including senior management, business units and support functions to ensure alignment on risk appetite and risk management practices.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Risk Management specialist to join our dynamic Global Markets First Line of Defence Customer Protection and Market Practices (CPaMP) Risk Team., Strong understanding of risk management practices, including risk identification and control evaluation.

  • Analytical mind set with a data-driven, structured approach to driving outcomes.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to support impactful reporting and communication with senior stakeholders.

  • Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards and best practices related to customer protection and market conduct (e.g.MiFID II, MAR).

  • Resilience, self-motivated, strong organizational skills, highly adaptive, detail oriented, and demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders including senior management, business units, compliance, legal and Internal Audit.

  • Experience in working with the various risk and control systems and reporting requirements.

  • Be able to drive change with pragmatism and sensitivity. Ability to listen, understand and negotiate are key attributes to be successful in this role.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word).
