We're looking for a Revenue Reporting Analyst to join our Financial Accounting team.
The core objective of this role is to provide accurate and timely reporting that will support effective decision-making by being an expert user on operational and reporting systems, and having a clear understanding of Finance processes and wider business issues.
The role will require reviewing, analysing and reporting on revenue-related information to provide useful insight and business-based responses, facilitating seamless exchange of data to Financial Accounting for recognition of revenue at month end. You will also be accountable for providing supporting documentation to assist with balance sheet reconciliations, as well as ensuring that relevant controls and processes are appropriately documented and operating to meet internal control and external audit requirements.
You will ensure that any commercial changes or business changes are correctly accounted for, and all systems changes are implemented end to end while also ensuring opportunities for automation and improvements are highlighted and actioned to drive efficiencies.

Day to day
Some of your key responsibilities as our Revenue Reporting Analyst will be:

  • Acting as a key information provider for the business providing revenue and other information in useable formats with summaries and supporting comments

  • Understanding the business requirements for each request and provide information within that context - add value, by recommending next steps, highlighting trends etc.

  • Assisting other teams by administrating systems set up, validating the data feeds and interfaces, and advising / training other systems users.

  • Leading projects to drive automation and system enhancements for Financial Accounting using your expertise and knowledge to deliver these

  • Delivering appropriate skills development plans (documented) tailored to the requirements of the position, providing clear KPI's to measure and support your progress

    In addition to the above, we are looking for our successful candidate to demonstrate the following:

  • Ability to analyze and interpret data, with an eye on the detail whilst being able to see the big picture;

  • Strong ability to exercise independent judgment and problem-solving skills within an overall business context;

  • Review information and trends to ensure that the output of processes are achieving the desired results;

  • Good attention to detail driving accuracy and completeness in reporting;

  • Identify issues / risks and participate / lead in the problem resolution;

  • Bring inconsistencies and risks to the attention of management;

  • Good systems and process knowledge (experience with TM1 / RPA / Oracle an advantage)
