About the store

Specsavers in Wilmslow opened in 2012 and sits in a central position on the main pedestrianised high street. The store boasts 3 test rooms including 1 dual room also used for hearcare services, all fully equipped with the latest clinical technology, including OCT. The store also offers enhanced clinical services such as MECs, CUEs, post cataract checks, glaucoma and diabetic screening. Audiology services are also provided as it serves as a spoke store to Congleton Hub.

A team of 14 dedicated colleagues call this store home. The existing Partner is really passionate about the clinical development of the team, and as the new Retail Director you would have the scope to advise on training requirements and build the team further as required.

Store Location

Located around 11 miles south of Manchester, Wilmslow is an affluent area and one of the most sought after places to live in the UK. The town is part of the Golden Triangle together with Alderley Edge and Prestbury. There's something for everyone in Wilmslow; independent and high street shops, cafes, bars restaurants and plenty of green open spaces. The river Bollin runs through the Carrs Park, providing opportunities for riverside and woodland walks and outdoor recreational activities.

There are excellent transport links with a train station 7 minutes' walk from the store where a train to Manchester takes between 18 and 26 minutes. The A34 runs close to the town and Manchester airport and the M56 are less than 5 miles from the store.
