Retail Partner - Ryde and Newport, Isle of Wight

The Isle of Wight is the second most populous and largest island in England. It is the perfect place to enjoy some peace, quiet, natural beauty and stunning sandy beaches. Access to the mainland is easy, with over 100 crossings a day, the quickest journey taking around 10 mins.

Ryde

Specsavers in Ryde first opened its doors in 2004. The store sits in a prominent on the main high street in the town. The store boasts 3 optical test rooms and 2 hearcare rooms, all fully equipped with the latest clinical technology including OCT. They offer enhanced clinical services including cataract appointments, glaucoma monitoring and minor eye conditions services.

Ryde is an English seaside town located on the North of the Island which has easy access to the ferry port and train station. The town's large and long esplanade area has always been an attraction for tourists, especially those day-tripping from the mainland, as the amenities are all available by walking from the pier. Ryde has a small marina located to the east of Ryde Pier with provision for up to 200 boats, either on floating pontoons or leaning against the harbour wall.

Newport

Specsavers in Newport first opened in 2015 and is also situated in a prime location on the main high street. The store has 5 optical test rooms, 2 audiology rooms and operates as a hub store to spoke store Ryde. They offer enhanced clinical services such as CUES and post cataract care.

Around 7 miles from Ryde sits the county town of Newport.
