Full Job Description

The team is the face of Marketforce at retail and is responsible for delivering and helping to shape publisher newsstand strategies with retailers. It is an opportunity to develop skills in providing effective commercial deals and learn the basics of good planning, creative solutions, and strong negotiations.

You will provide planning, administrative, and promotional support to nominated accounts within the retail team. This job is important in supporting the National Account Managers to ensure we implement our publisher's plans and deliver sales objectives., Coordinating and communicating with retail group head offices, circulation managers, and sales team members on all promotions, invoices, all other administrative requests, and ad-hoc activities and managing the internal range process for key retail groups.

This role works alongside the Senior National Account Manager and Associate National Account Manager to drive the profitable sales of Marketforce titles at Tesco, Asda, M&S, Spar, and Irish retailers delivering :

  • Strong in-store promotions

  • Good promotional offers

  • A high share of range

  • Good supply management to maximise availability

    Strong attention to detail and a tenacity to push activity through.

  • Be computer literate with excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.

  • Passionate about working within a retail environment and engaging with internal departments to deliver client's needs.

  • Highly organised, able to prioritise and work to tight time-tables

  • Good, clear communication in written and verbal form . Effective presentation skills and clear creative thinking to give opportunities the best opportunity to succeed.

  • Problem-solving ability- taking ownership of a problem, proactive, common sense steps to resolve

  • Experience of Google sheets /docs/slides would be an advantage
