Full Job Description

We are looking to recruit a Resource Coordinator to provide support and development of the daily & strategical planning element of the IP department.,

  • Absence management - End to End Absence Management for all Port Operatives on the Humber (c.320 ops) includes monitoring tracking and recording all absences and also undertaking return to work interviews.

  • Onboarding/exit procedures - end to end

  • Processing of administrative duties as we transition from current state in new ways of working.

  • KPI/SLA adherence

  • Working closely with the IP team and regular contact

  • with terminals managers, PAM, PBS and HR

  • Create, implement, and maintain KPI's, dashboards and ad hoc reports.

  • Develop and maintain key systems, documents & schedules.

  • Promote continuous improvement and process standardisation within the department.

  • Ensure all compliance measures are maintained and promote a safe working environment.

  • Liaise with ABP departments to develop a strategical approach to support our values and six strategical pillars.

  • Support the team in order to deliver our internal/external SLAs, with support from the AOPM

    Good standard of education including Level 2 literacy and numeracy, or equivalent

  • Extensive experience of Microsoft Office and strong working knowledge of excel related functionalities (Macros, Pivot tables etc)

  • Administration experience

  • Capacity to work with limited supervision, to make decisions and work on own initiative

  • Ability to work in a busy environment, working to deadlines on multiple actions

  • Effective communication skills, to deal tactfully and sensitively with people at all levels

  • Excellent listening skills

  • Good organisational and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work as part of a team

  • Ability to get to and from the terminals across the Humber on a regular basis

  • Operational/Maritime/Asset experience desirable

  • Previous experience with SAP and/or other system based platforms
