Full Job Description

  • File opening and closing

  • Completion of registration

  • Onboarding tasks and due diligence

  • Printing and photocopying

  • Audio typing and copy typing of letters and other documents

  • Dealing with, and making, telephone calls and taking messages as appropriate

  • Attending upon clients as required

  • Diary maintenance

  • Processing accounts procedures on conveyancing transactions

  • Dealing with the Land Registry, search providers and any other third parties/ IT applications used in the course of dealing with a matter

  • Completing Land Registry documentation and SDLT forms

  • Any other tasks that may be required, Service recognition

  • Birthday as holiday

  • 1 day for charity work each year

    Essential

  • Secretarial/PA experience within a law firm.

  • Computer literacy and audio typing.

  • Good communication skills and telephone matter.

  • Personable, self-organised and motivated.


  • Desirable
  • Secretarial experience in property departments.

  • Experience of completing property related documents and applications.

  • Understanding of the conveyancing process., A-Level or equivalent (preferred), Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
