Full Job Description

Oxford Martin School, 34 Broad Street, Oxford, OX1 3DB
The Oxford Martin School are seeking to appoint a Research Support Officer to join our small, core team of professional services staff. The Research Support Officer is a vital member of our busy administrative team and will offers an exciting opportunity to be involved with a wide range of activities and support research colleagues within the School and beyond. The role will suit someone who can take a flexible and proactive approach to their workload and is a keen problem solver.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of administrative support for the School's pre-award research activity, including supporting grant applications at all stages. The post holder will also support both the Head of Administration and Finance and the Research and Programmes Manager with areas of post-award support and support for our own funding round administration. They manage the administration of the Visiting Fellows programme and are integral in providing support for the School's contribution to the REF 2029 submission.
This post would be particularly suited to an individual with experience working in research administration in a HEI or research setting, who is able to collaborate and build strong relationships with a wide range of people in an interdisciplinary environment.
Applications for this vacancy are to be made online and you will be required to upload a supporting statement and CV as part of your online application. Your supporting statement should clearly describe how you meet each of the selection criteria listed in the job description.
