Full Job Description

Part time time hours considered up to a maximum of 0.6 FTE / 22 hours Requests for flexible working options will be considered (subject to business need).,

  • We are in search of an enthusiastic mixed-methods researcher interested in place-based implementation, prevention, shared decision-making and mental health.

  • The post-holder will focus on implementing a Friendship Bench initiative locally.

  • The aim is to help strengthen the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) infrastructure to improve primary and community health services for marginalised groups in Kent, Surrey and Sussex (KSS).

  • The post-holder will assist the team in six-monthly reporting cycles to NIHR.

  • Our research portfolio includes projects on mental health, chronic conditions, data, marginalised communities and health inequalities.

  • They should have excellent communication and team-building skills, be able to join and forge local and regional networks, and help to build capacity for the NIHR ARC in KSS.

  • Experience in implementation and in both quantitative and qualitative methods and systematic reviewing is essential.
