Full Job Description

The School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science at Queen Mary University of London is looking to recruit a part-time Research Assistant for the project Music Production Style Transfer (ProStyle). The role is to investigate machine learning approaches by which a production style may be learnt from examples and mapped onto new musical audio content. The work will build on prior work in this area, but the Research Assistant will be encouraged to explore new approaches.

Applicants must hold a Master's Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field. They should have expertise in audio processing, audio programming, music production and machine learning, especially deep learning. It would also be desirable for applicants to have publications in leading journals in the field.
