Full Job Description

To provide the day-to-day provision for the RFI Office, dealing with SARs and FOI Requests for both Northampton and Kettering General Hospitals.

This role requires the use of multiple computer systems in order to locate, download, scan and collate information to be provided back to the requestor. You will be required to use the necessary Group systems in order tolocate patient records and information from the records in order to process requests from patients or their relatives, solicitors, Police, the GMC, GDC, veteran agency, DWP and other government bodies, the coroner, complaints ombudsman via complaints, and more. You will also provide Freedom of Information (FOI) Requests made by the public, working with internal teams across the Group to locate information andrespond in accordance with the Act.

We are excited to be recruiting to our newly formed 'Request for Information' (RFI) Team to a role that requires a trustworthy, organised and diligent person to carry out tasks of a very confidential nature. The successful candidate will be a committed team player, with an eye for detail and a love of computer systems.

You may already have experience and knowledge of Subject Access Requests (SAR) and/or Freedom for Information (FOI)requests or Medical Records in a health care setting, although this is not essential as training will be provided by a very experience team.

We are looking to find a motivated quick learner who wants to be part of team of administrators across the RFI workstream for both Northampton and Kettering General Hospitals.

Regular supervision and training will be provided and you will be encouraged to undertake any training relevant to your professional and personal development.
