Reporter

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Reporter to join our news team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, an eye for detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines. As a Reporter, you will be responsible for researching, writing, and delivering news stories across multiple platforms, including our website, social media channels, and print editions., Research and develop news stories and features from inception to completion.

Conduct interviews, attend events, and gather information to ensure accurate and comprehensive reporting.

Write clear, concise, and engaging articles adhering to journalistic standards and ethics.

Collaborate with editors, photographers, and other reporters to ensure high-quality content.

Adapt stories for digital and print formats, including multimedia content when appropriate.

Stay informed on current events and trends to generate fresh and relevant story ideas.

Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Reporter, Journalist, or similar role.

Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

Strong research and interviewing abilities.

Proficient in digital journalism tools and social media platforms.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Knowledge of AP style is preferred.
