Full Job Description

Within this challenging role, you will support with the day-to- day administration operations in the Release Office.

Your role

· To download and verify all vehicle scanning files, ensuring all are correct and that any anomalies are investigated in a timely fashion.

· To collate and produce carrier load requirements for all vehicles.

· To facilitate the ordering and delivery of controlled delivery vehicles from the point of storage.

· Liaising with the carrier and manufacturer to resolve any problems arising from the ex-gate process.

· Responding to various means of communication and to provide information to manufacturers, dealers and their agents with regard to vehicle location, shipping information, delivery date and repair dates.

· To liaise with external and internal customers and carriers regarding: planned collections / damages / expected volumes and to assist in resolving any issues that arise.

· To cover, as appropriate, the other Release Office and operational support staff including (but not limited to) holidays and sickness.

· Ensuring that the terminal location system is continually cleansed and up to date on a daily basis.

· Compiling weekly reports on carrier (stick) performance.

· To work a flexible shift pattern and assist in undertaking a monthly stock check (which occurs on one weekend each month).

· To ensure all fuel card records are correctly compiled and stored.

· To ensure the space-planning tool is completed on a daily basis and shared with all requested parties. This includes monitoring vehicles in SP locations and ensuring all have been correctly located.

· Excellent communication and organisation skills

· Experience within a customer service background

· The ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team

· Strong IT skills including MS Office and bespoke systems/ databases

· Has a high degree of flexibility,

  • system administration: 2 years (required)
