Are you an experienced carer with a passion for making a difference and providing person centred care to our residents; ensuring their preferences, needs and values guide clinical decisions and providing care that is respectful of and responsive to them.

Renovo is an independent specialist provider for the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of adults with neurological conditions, including acquired brain injury (ABI), and progressive neurological disorders. We offer high quality care that promotes and supports the best rehabilitative outcomes possible.

As a Rehabilitation Care Assistant at Renovo, you can expect a working environment that is welcoming, friendly and supportive, where no two days are the same; and you will be given opportunities to learn and develop within your role.,

  • You will support our residents in a range of meaningful activities and relationships throughout the day

  • You will support our residents on external visits and trips locally, and sometimes further afield

  • You will ensure all care and support plans and documentation is up-to-date, comprehensive, accurate and legally compliant

  • As part of a friendly and supportive team, you will communicate in a manner that promotes effective team working

  • You will help improve our resident's quality of life by ensuring their needs are met and that each person is always treated with dignity and respect

  • You will carry out personal care as needed, such as bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, and toileting needs, as well as ensuring they have adequate food and drink throughout the day/night

  • You will support our residents to help them manage any anxieties, or challenging behaviours they may face

    Sound understanding of good social care principles (essential)

  • Understanding of safeguarding adults' requirements (essential)

  • A stable work history, with 1 years' experience in a similar role/environment

  • We take our safeguarding responsibilities very seriously, and this role is therefore subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Certificate (DBS).,
  • Diploma of Higher Education (preferred), Care home: 1 year (required)
