Full Job Description

We're looking for a mid to senior Regulatory and Compliance lawyer to support our client, a global technology company, for at least 3 months.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to make an impact during a crucial time of growth for the business. You'll be joining the EMEA Regulatory legal team supporting the company's growing e-commerce business. You'll be advising on a broad range of regulatory matters including advising business teams on compliance in relation to new laws and regulations.

The role will include:

  • Supporting the e-commerce business on compliance with new and existing online platform, consumer, and product related legislation in the UK and across Europe (E.g DSA, Online Safety Bill, General Product Safety Regulation)

  • Supporting the review of new products and features against relevant law and guidance

  • Engaging with regulators, including those responsible for online platform, consumer, and product related regulation, with responsibility for ensuring the consistent and strategic handling of regulatory enquiries and investigations

  • Assessing risk and co-ordinating with the wider business as a trusted adviser on regulatory compliance and risk management issues, This assignment will be full time, starting as soon as possible, and is expected to run for at least 3 months. This will be hybrid working with some days in the office in London.
