Full Job Description

Ofcom Wales is looking for a Regulatory Affairs Assistant to join the team in the Cardiff office. A role essential to the effective operation of the Ofcom Wales team, the post holder will provide personal and operational support to the Director of Ofcom in Wales, the wider Wales team and other colleagues in the organisation.

The successful candidate will also provide a range of office management, facilities, ICT and finance issues as well as organising and supporting Ofcom's statutory Advisory Committee meetings in Wales, which advise Ofcom on the views of consumers and the people of Wales across the regulatory responsibilities of the organisation.

Ofcom Wales team

The Ofcom Wales team represents Ofcom in Wales and Wales within Ofcom - managing relationships and communications with the people in Wales and a wide range of stakeholders, including politicians, industry and the media. The team manages all aspects of Ofcom's remit and provides input and advice on issues as they apply to Wales to policy and project teams across Ofcom. Through extensive consultation exercises, a variety of events and well-established working relations with stakeholders, the team makes sure it has its finger on the pulse and is acutely aware of the needs of industry, consumers and citizens in Wales.,
