Registered Nurse - Bank

Bank hours available. This role is to cover for annual leave and sickness.

Shifts can range from: 07:00-19:30 (12 hours) 07:00-13:30 (6 hours) 13:00-19:30 (6 hours) or 19:00-07:30 (12 hours), As a Registered Nurse with Leonard Cheshire you'll be responsible and accountable for providing the highest standards of nursing, clinical and personal support, while promoting independence and choice to our customers. Leading a team of support staff you will ensure the smooth and efficient management of the shift, prioritising, planning and delegating activities for the support team.

You will:

• Be a registered nurse (current registration with NMC).


• Have thorough and up-to-date knowledge of nursing theory and best practice at the level of a qualified nurse (level 5).


• Be able to demonstrate effective nursing practice in all basic registered nurse procedures.


• Work flexibly within rostered hours and on-call rota as required.

A night enhancement of £1.50 per hour will apply from 8pm to 7am Monday - Sunday (this does not apply to sleep-ins). A weekend day enhancement of £2.00 per hour will be paid from 7am to 8pm, Saturday and Sunday.
